3-9-17 ~ GOSSIP & SLANDER: Verbal Feces Spread Upon Others & Fertilizer for Demons

Ephesians 4:29 ~ “Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.”

Proverbs 20:19 ~ “He who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets, Therefore do not associate with a gossip.”

Psalm 34:13 ~ “Keep your tongue from evil And your lips from speaking deceit.”

James 1:26 ~ “If anyone thinks himself to be religious and yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless.”

Psalm 101:5 ~ “Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy; No one who has a haughty look and an arrogant heart will I endure.”

Yesterday I took my iPad outside to get a few more pictures. I saw the manure spreader, hooked up to a tractor and yes, that is the illustration for this post. The manure spreader says “The Dump Truck” . . . Hmmm, somebody sure had a sense of humor when they named it (yes, a chuckle here is fine and even an LOL, cause it is kinda funny).

Ok, back to the point of this post:
You see, gossip and slander is EVIL and is like spreading verbal feces upon others, while becoming fertilizer for demons. When ANYBODY gossips/slanders another person, that is an open door party to the demonic. It partners that person with the demonic hordes from the pit of hell and WILL bring judgement from the Heavenly Father.

Gossip/Slander must NOT be a part of a professing Christian’s life. . . NOT AT ALL!!!

synonyms: defame (someone’s character) · blacken someone’s name · tell lies about · speak ill/evil of · sully someone’s reputation · libel · smear · cast aspersions on · spread scandal about · besmirch · tarnish · taint · malign · traduce · vilify · disparage · denigrate · run down · slur · badmouth · dis · trash · derogate

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 ~
“Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?
Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.”

IF you gossip/slander, then REPENT (meaning stop doing that and ask the LORD to forgive you and don’t do it again!!)

ANY ADS LOCATED ON MY BLOG POSTS ARE NOT MY CHOICE, NOR DO I ENDORSE ANY OF THE THEM. . . I have a free account from WordPress, which may place ads of their choosing on my posts. I suppose it’s a good example of “you get what you pay for”. Currently “free” is all I can afford, but THANK YOU JESUS, I’m able to do this at all.
